2017 is an exciting time at Cresswell Barn Farm. The winter has been very busy, new developments on the site and lots of plans for the coming season.
While queuing has never been a problem at Cresswell, the thought of having to rush up the yard and find the door locked, can be inconvenient! This year we have provided extra toilets and showers built. What a relief! Easter will be upon us in no time, and the weather promises to be dry and sunny ( that’s what the law of the Pembrokeshire countryside is telling us) Oak before ash and we are in for a splash, ash before oak and we are in for a soak!
The whole family are busy planting potatoes. With the new equipment we have already planted 30 acres, only 370 to go!
I am continually looking at the forecast with farming in one hand and camping in the other, so if you want to know the weather forecast I’m the one to ask.
Pop’s is doing well 94 this year and already planning a trip to Normandy with the Taxi Cabs, he has always got the phone by him whilst I am outside ready for any enquiries about camping. I never tire of his enthusiasm for life.
